Christian Adam is a mountain adventurer who is as comfortable climbing 5.13 as running 100 miles through the rugged Sierra Nevada mountains. But it’s his love of photography that has been the catalyst for his mountain pursuits. Since graduating from the Brooks Institute of photography in 2014, Christian has travelled, explored, and photographed the outdoor world, ranging from iconic landscapes seen while climbing, skiing, hiking, and running, to documenting the unsung equipment that assists us all in these adventures.
A staunch proponent of capturing authentic moments, Christian doesn’t believe in putting the camera away when things get tough. “The perfect moment might never come,” he says, which is why his shutter is always clicking no matter what the weather or terrain can throw at him.
